Paul Stokes (USA) is an amateur bonsai enthusiast from Madison, Wisconsin. A web designer, internet and computer programmer, landscaper, construction worker, Paul has long been fascinated by the miniaturization of trees in pots. He has been involved with bonsai since 2000, when his girlfriend bought him a mini-bonsai starter kit for his birthday; he became a member of Badger Bonsai Society a year later.
Learned a lot from watching these three videos. There was a lot of information.
One thing I would have liked is to have the camera holder take a prime spot, viewing the trees head on while the critiques were given. This would allow us to be sure we understand some of the points made about specific trees’ features.
Still, very useful and I’m grateful that you’re sharing this.
Brian, there is almost too much info at times. I know what you mean about the camera angles. I fought through the crowd the best I could. A gallery will be going up soon so you can see some of the trees better.
Now seen all the three videos. The videos are from good quality, you can hear everything very well, only thing, already said above is that sometimes the trees that were discussed weren’t always good to see, so you couldn’t always see good what they were talking about, nonetheless, very good videos, I’ll keep these in mind to see once more later, thanks!
Loved the first 2 and now delighted to see the 3rd one appearing
