Paul Stokes (USA) is an amateur bonsai enthusiast from Madison, Wisconsin. A web designer, internet and computer programmer, landscaper, construction worker, Paul has long been fascinated by the miniaturization of trees in pots. He has been involved with bonsai since 2000, when his girlfriend bought him a mini-bonsai starter kit for his birthday; he became a member of Badger Bonsai Society a year later.
Love the demonstrations, like the variation of talking about his apprenticeship and the tree and some other techniques. Also some jokes in between. Can’t wait to see the end result, I tend to go right to part 3, on the other hand the videos are so good I want to see part 2 too, so I’ve to be patient to see the result!
Thanks Ryan for all the Great information. I have probably watched this video 10 times (videos 1-3) and try to soak up as much information as you give out, thanks for being so open with all the tips and secrets you have gained through your years of experience in Japan, its invaluable for me
