The first prize is the Sphagnum Moss bonsai method?

    You HAVE to be joking.

Just so we are clear, there is no first place prize, just prizes.

    Hi,

Could you review the book ‘Bonsai Potters’ by D Giphart and L Arzooyan. I hear it was a very good book about bonsai pottery.

    Thanks!

I don’t have a specific book I would like reviewed, but something on forest plantings would be of interest to me.

I would like to second the motion on the book ‘Bonsai Potters’ by D Giphart and L Arzooyan. I have been thinking about making some bonsai lately and would love to read your take on this book.

Thanks for being so generous with your raffle giveaways.
    I hope I win something!

I would like to see early editions of Bonsai Today offered in future raffles.
These early editions, 1-30 or so, are highly sought after in all of my local clubs.

Also, I would like to see Walter Palls bonsai blog added to your site. He keeps an almost daily blog with a plethora of valuable info on his own website.
Im not sure if you can do this. You would probably have to contact him and ask permission to republish his work, then set up an automatic live feed via from site.

    Thanks!

I’ve seen many tool sets like this one advertised for fairly low prices. The sets contain anywhere between 10 and 34 pieces. As stated before, the prices, when compaired to the “high quality” Japanese tools, are pretty cheap. But is the quality good enough to warrant buying one of these sets? Also if they are of decient quality, these sets could be a good prize to give away in the raffle.

One more to review: The book ‘Bonsai Craftsman’ of ‘Takeo Kawabe’ http://bonsai-kawabe.com/book-en

It looks like a very good book to me even though it’s in Japanese. There are many pictures in it.

Although I first thought about suggesting a autographed picture of myself for the next raffle I would now like to replace that notion with perhaps a copy of Dan Barton’s “Bonsai Book”,,As I am still a beginner I found Dan Barton’s advice on cultivation and styling very insightful, but what struck me even more was his philosophies on bonsai and life. Very innspirational. Also it would also probrably be a noble idea to include John Naka’s 2 :”Bonsaitechniques” books(which always seem to elude me). I would also like to second Collin Perry’s notion of BonsaiToday issues. They are always very awe-inspiring.

Then I would also like to thank you for holding such a raffel. It is very generous of you to share your (bountiful booty) with us passerbys.

Hope everyone wins someting they wanted.
    God bless :)

I would like you to review a USA made watering can that I just heard about: Manufactured by Dramm corporation, http://www.rainwand.com/watering-cans

I love that it is manufactured in the US, and that it is not metal. They get too hot in the sun.

    Thanks
