If anyone would like to travel to Japan to attend the exciting ASPAC (Asia Pacific Bonsai & Suiseki) convention AND the Taikan Ten (Grandview Bonsai exhibition) in a group smaller than 130 people, you might want to consider the limited personalized tour Kora Dalager and I are leading in November. This tour also includes the beautiful and colorful autumn display of Japanese maples in garden temples and more. Additionally, there is an extension to visit Omiya Bonsai Village, the new Omiya Bonsai Art Museum, Kobayashi’s Shunka-en Bonsai Museum, the collection of Masahiko Kimura and Seiji Morimae’s S-Cube Bonsai Nursery.
I have made over 50 trips to Japan and have been leading tours for 35 years and am kind of familiar and well known in the Japanese bonsai community. Kora and I have been leading tours to Japan for ten years and have introduced the Japan, Korea and Taiwan bonsai world to hundreds of people who have joined us from around the world. This tour will be limited to 15 participants to provide personalized attention to everyone and we are getting people signing up now.
