Before
This tree was collected approximately two years ago in Venezuela, specifically in a xerophyte forest right in the northern west region of the country and on a sea shore. The native range of PITHECELLOBIUM TORTUM is unknown. Its origin could be in Mexico or Central America towards the Brazilian coasts.
The position showed on the first picture is not the same it had in the moment of its recollection. It does not count with beautiful dead woods, the present ones showed up after its recollection, when it only survived a very small portion of its trunk alive.
Selecting its best front respecting to the living vein and changing its position on account of the horizontal view, I will create a much more elegant tree which will delight us from the view of a thoroughgoing work of dead woods which will be performed and showed in the second phase from this progressive labor, converting this piece into a real sculpting fact and it will be completed with a small and dedicated volume of foliage which will not lack importance to the trunk.
The definite pot of this composition must be just as a sculpture foundation, of shapes with soft and simple colors which avoid lacking importance to the trunk that it will be the most important element from this composition.
