Hey folks Paul Stokes here.

I have decided to leave the KoB and AoB.

It took a long long while for me to come to this conclusion.

The truth is that I have been thinking about this for some time. This last debacle with Robert Steven’s pots was the straw that broke the horses back so to speak. I am so angry about this situation as I am sure many of you are too.

Since I was, for all intensive purposes, the owner of the KoB, I have moved all content from that site to this one, including anything that I wrote for the AoB. The KoB will be shut down soon enough. If you have articles published on other sites or magazines I would love for you to submit them to me for publication here.

I need to some how restore your faith in me, after what has happened. I pledge to make ofbonsai.org everything that the KoB and AoB could have been. But I need your help! I need a steady stream of articles and galleries to make it work.

At this time I have also decided to not have a forum. I want to focus more on being a valuable resource for bonsai enthusiasts that a venue for attacking one another. I have however included a chat area, seen at the bottom right hand side of the screen.

I am in need of a good editor to help with the [hopefully] huge influx of bonsai articles to come in the near future. I need a few bonsai reporters as well, people how can cover bonsai events around the world and write reviews.

In case you also move the blogs, make sure you direct people who browse the old address to the new address, otherwise, it will be quite troublesome as when you changed the blogs’ address last time.

I also found lots of pictures missing on my blog…hope you can help to have them recovered.

    Thanks Paul !

Yes, the blogs are moving as well.
Everything will be fixed and or addressed before moving.
And they will all be redirected.

Paul, good luck. I understand your dilemma and just wish you had been able to make the break much earlier.

Good luck, Paul! Just remember… it’s all about the trees!

Wishing you a successful and drama-free new site!

Hope all is well with you. Good luck on your future in the cyber world. I love the no discussion idea, as the bonsai world needs a place to exhibit work. Let each take what they want.

Thanks Al! A forum is just so much overhead. You can still have discussions within each article though. Maybe you’ll send in an article ;)

I don’t see the icon to view the article list. There is “Recent Articles”, but can’t click to view more previous articles…

      Robert,
All of the articles are divided up into categories. Those categories are listed in the dark gray bar near the top of the screen. When you hover a category name a “sub-menu” will appear directly below that dark gray bar, this way you can navigate to a very specific sub section.

      Hope this helps.

    Paul,
I am truly sorry for the ordeal, I know nothing more than the gossip, have avoided it completely. If you are doing this as your “own thing” I will be happy to help in any way that I might. Best of luck. John

    Hey Paul,

I like the website, but it would be a lot better if the first image I see when I sign on is a bonsai (not that you’re not interesting to look at…but). Keep it up, I especially like the video links.

Great concept Paul! Good to learn that you left the ‘no win’ situation behind.
