Judge #3: No mystery or suggestive feeling as front is too open. Variation in length of bottom two jin would look better. Suggest shortening or removal of top jin.
San Jose Juniper (Juniperus chinensis 'San Jose')
This plant comes also from a nursery. I liked this plant for the movement in its trunk, the conicity, enough branches to make a compact bonsai.
One Quarter Progression
The Lower Branches Were Worked As Jins To Give More Personality To The Upper Part Of The Tree. I Choose This Front
Half Way Progression
Three Quarter Progression
PHOTO 3097 CORRESPOND TO THE BACK OF THE TREE AND 3102 AND 3105 IS THE DETAIL OF THE DRIED WOOD. THE TREE IS STILL WIRED AND WE EXPECT TO TAKE OUT THE WIRE IN ONE MONTH.
